CIMS Professional customers can easily change the names of their sections, blocks, lots and spaces. If you need to add sections/blocks/lots/spaces to your cemetery, please [https://www.cimscemeterysoftware.com/technical-support/ contact our team].

Renaming a section/block/lot/space does not move it in your cemetery. If you need to move parts of your cemetery around, please [https://www.cimscemeterysoftware.com/technical-support/ contact our team].

To rename a section, block, lot or space, click your cemetery's name in the top navigation bar, then "Level maintenance". From the list that appears, find the section/block/lot/space you want to rename. Click the blue pencil-and-paper icon just to the right of its name. An input box will appear; type in the new name, then click "Save".

If you renamed any areas that were hidden in Burial Search, [[Burial Search settings#Hiding areas & individual spaces|you will need to re-hide them]].
